This is a piece of artwork by the illustrator Sara Fanelli. It is a press advert for the mobile phone company, Orange. I chose this as my favourite piece of illustration by her mainly because of the different style of text used. I love the sense of communication in this piece. This can be seen through the tree like creation coming out of the figure's head as if the thoughts and feelings are branching out from the person, communicating through the use of the phone and transmitters. The use of birds also has this emphasis on communication as they are situated in the tree and can fly everywhere spreading the word, an example of this would link in with the well known phrase, "A little bird told me..."
The colours used for the illustration are also incorporated well however Sara Fanelli may have not had a say in this as the colour schemes may have been designed by the Orange company themselves. I can tell that the text used is her own though as she has a very distinctive style of text as I have seen this at the Tate Liverpool where I purchased an Art Timeline.
